The Wonder Years Academy is proudly a veteran-owned business.

I proudly served my country as a U.S. Army officer after graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point. My military career included assignments in South Korea and a combat tour in Saudi Arabia. When my service ended, my wife, who is also a veteran, and I began an exciting new chapter in our lives: becoming parents.

Like many new parents, we were thrilled to welcome our newborn son into the world. At the same time, we faced the challenge of finding dependable child care. With our closest family members living more than 700 miles away, we needed a daycare solution quickly.

Finding the right child care provider was one of the most difficult and emotional decisions we had ever faced. The thought of leaving our six-week-old baby in the care of someone we didn't know was overwhelming. We searched for a place where we felt comfortable, supported, and confident in the care our son would receive.

Thankfully, our story had a wonderful ending.

We found a caregiver who took the time to truly understand our family's needs. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine love for our son immediately put us at ease. The trust she earned and the care she provided made all the difference during that important time in our lives.

That experience became the foundation for The Wonder Years Academy.

The model we follow today is based on the compassion, care, and professionalism we experienced as parents. When your family walks through our doors each morning, our goal is to provide that same sense of comfort, confidence, and trust.

I have been in your shoes. I understand the emotions that come with leaving your infant or young child in someone else's care. That is why we work every day to make the transition into child care as smooth and natural as possible for both children and parents.

Since opening our doors in 1999, we have remained committed to providing high-quality child care and early education in a safe, secure, family-oriented environment. We strive to earn the trust and confidence of every family we serve while helping children learn, grow, and thrive.
